The silicone mask cushion and the silicone nasal pillows, with proper care, can serve you up to 12 months. However, the actual life of the nasal mask or pillows can vary greatly, depending upon use.
Replace the mask immediately when it leaks air excessively, there is a tear in the cushion, or it becomes uncomfortable to wear.

Daily procedure for CPAP Cleaning:
|
in the morning...
- Remove the cushion or nasal pillow from your mask.
- Wash the cushion or nasal pillows with hot running water and leave for air dry.
in the evening...
- top the distilled water in the humidifier chamber to maximum level.
- assembly the mask: insert the cushion or pillows.
- wash your face to remove facial oil and help your mask to last longer.

Weekly procedure for CPAP Cleaning:
|
- Unplug the machine from power. Disconnect the mask or shell, swivel or Whisper Swivel from the tubing. Remove the headgear from your mask or nasal pillow shell.
- Throw-out the remained water from humidifier chamber. Wash the chamber under hot water or in dishwasher.
- Inspect the filters on the unit. One filter is usually a foam material that is easily taken out from the device by pinching the middle of the foam. The filter is normally found in the rear of the unit, but check the manual if it is not found. This should be cleaned with water and mild soap.
- Remove the tubing from the device and rinse with water and mild soap swishing the water back and forth through the tube and then emptying. Rinse thoroughly and hang to air dry.

Quartely CPAP Maintanence:
|
- Unplug the machine from power.
- Clean the CPAP machine using wipes or damp cloth.
- Inspect the filters on the unit. One filter is usually a foam material that is easily taken out from the device by pinching the middle of the foam. The filter is normally found in the rear of the unit, but check the manual if it is not found. Replace it, do not clean the white filter.
- Review air hose, power cord, humidifier chamber for cracks, damages and replace if needed.
