Your Old CPAP is Broken?

Here Is What To Do In Six Quick Steps!

1) Call your current sleep doctor for an updated prescription.

Please Note:  Your Doctor may require you to do a Sleep Titration test again. This may be required to see if your PAP pressure needs have changed over the years.

2) Complete the Sleep Titration Test (if required).

3) Obtain a new prescription for a new PAP.

4) Call your nearest most convenient vendor for an appointment or go online and shop.

Please Note: Some vendors require a CPAP prescription before making a CPAP sale. Call ahead to be sure. Also, check your old CPAP for a serial number and main operational  issue with your old CPAP.  If government funding is a part of your situation in Ontario, Canada, the subsidy payout may require information about your old CPAP in order to process the paperwork for your new CPAP.

5) Browse cpapclinic.ca to see the latest in CPAP equipment.

Common considerations when shopping for a new CPAP

  • Portability – Most newer CPAP are smaller and lighter!
  • Silence, Please! – More and more CPAP are now even quieter than ever!
  • Power Options – More PAP devices are now equipped with batteries for anywhere use!
  • Precise Humidity – New PAP units have precision based humidity settings for any sleeping area!
  • Camping and traveling options – Some PAP units have the option for DC power!
  • For Him/For Her – Some PAP units are now especially designed for men and women!
  • Heated tubing is now available for many newer PAP units, helping you control your heated humidity experience even more!
  • Push button simplicity for on/off ease of use on most units!
  • Automatic on/off for even more convenience on upgraded units!
  • Pressure relief is also a standard for many PAP units, allowing you to exhale easier on higher PAP settings.

6) Replace your old CPAP and Obtain your new CPAP in the most convenient way for you!

The above steps solidify your overall CPAP wellness and ensure high quality sleep night after night.

  1. Thanks a lot for the instructions, and for taking the time to write this article . Very much helpful I thought my humidifier was broken, it just needs a good setting.

  2. Hi! Thanks for this post. But I used remstar m series and I have a direct question the blue light on humidifier knob is blinking on and off. What does this mean? How I get the humidifier to work? Thank you!!!
