Many who invest in their sleep health discover the benefits of CPAP or PAP therapy to treat sleep apnea. A simple explanation of sleep apnea is the airway is obstructed during sleep, causing breathing to stop. PAP therapy blows air into the airway to keep it open during sleep, thereby avoiding snoring and apnea ( brief periods of no breathing).

For many, the experience is rewarding, after the “getting used to it” period, which is typically four to six weeks.

Additionally, as time moves forward,  the CPAP system has parts that require changing. One of the things to change is typically the mask. Once the mask is changed to something new, sometimes the new mask won’t attach to the CPAP assembly.
