This is the Threaded Connector of the mask's elbow. It should always be in place after the mask cleaning. This part slides through the hole of the cushion of the mask in order to secure the elbow onto the mask cloth.

After finding out that my machine was recalled and I was to stop using my machine immediately, I was terrified to think I would have no therapy till the situation with Phillips was resolved. When they said go ahead, Juli expedited a new machine the same day, and after only 2 business days, it arrived ( I live in Alberta).
