CPAP accessories require regular replacement as long term use may lead to wear and tear. Many CPAP users don't realize that many supplies associated with sleep therapy are disposable. Masks, air tubes, filters and headgear have a limited life span and must be replaced from time to time. CPAP devices are portable but care should be taken to ensure that sufficient replacement parts are always available to help the machine function in a normal way at any time. CPAP masks get loose after continual use and ill fitting masks cause obvious problems in the therapy. The mask should therefore be replaced after every 3 months. CPAP headgear helps to connect the mask securely to the head and the frequency of replacement should be between 3 to 6 months. Air tubes attaching to the CPAP machines, that get visibly dirty or torn out must also be replaced once every six months.
Also, it is necessary to change or clean the CPAP filters to keep them hygienic and flawless. Basically there are two types of filters - disposable filters which should be replaced on a regular basis and non-disposable filters, (also known as pollen filters) which can be washed and reused. There are separate CPAP mask accessories designed for each mask type and model.

The Consultant, Rob P., was knowledgeable, helpful, and made my experience above and beyond what I have previously had with other CPAP consultants. The appointment itself was an example of how all customer service interactions should go. Rob took the time to explain all of my options for the best machine for me, then went on to have me try on and experience the best mask for me. The prices for the equipment were fair and below most competitors. In addition to the great in person experience, was the follow up. I received both a follow up email from Rob, to ensure that I was satisfied with my equipment, but I also got a compliance and therapy report that I can request at anytime! CPAP Clinic are the most honest people when it comes to selling CPAP machines. When I was looking for my first CPAP machine, all the other sellers were charging double the price upto $2000 on top of OHP cover. I tried four of them and all were trying to rip customers off taking advantage of your ignorance. Finally I got the best price at CPAP Clinic, Mehak, my CPAP representative is very knowledgeable and explained to me the pros and cons of all the options so that I can make the right decision. They charged me a nominal amount. Transparency and helping the customer is the policy of CPAP clinic. I am very much pleased to meet such people, especially those selling medical equipment.
