DreamStation reusable pollen filter is compatible w/ all Respironics DreamStation CPAP.
It blocks big dust from the CPAP motor so your CPAP machine lasts longer (and your ultra-fine filter lasts longer too!). We highly recommend patients to use this filter with a DreamStation disposable filter. How to Clean a DreamStation Reusable Pollen Filter Wash it with tap water or soap water. Let it air dry.
How Long does It Last?
This filter is very solid.
If maintained well, it can last 1-2 years.
Appropriate Usage These filters are great as they are reusable. The best way to prolong the life of the filter is to clean it every 2 weeks of use or earlier should you notice there is quite a build-up of dirt in int.
Normally these filters are capable of lasting 1-2 years however they should be replaced every 6 months or so to ensure uncompromising performance especially if it appears to be damaged.
Note: The filter inside the plastic piece is a permanent fixture in the housing and cannot be replaced separately.
It must be replaced in a timely manner.
